How to Use – Application Guide

Dilution for soil treatment: 1 Liter of Fipro Spark Plus 50SC mixed into 500 Liters of water.

Pre-Construction Treatment: Before the structure goes up, spray, rod, or flood the foundation soil with the diluted mix — about 5 liters per square meter, taken all the way up to the DPC (Damp Proof Course) level. This stage gives the best long-term result because the barrier goes in before there’s anything for termites to reach.

Post-Construction Treatment: For a house or building that’s already standing, drill holes along the outside perimeter and inject 2–3 liters of solution into each one to build a continuous barrier under and around the foundation. Once done, seal the holes. Doors, window frames, and other exposed wood can be sprayed directly with the same solution.

Wood Treatment: For furniture or timber, mix 1 Liter with 22 Liters of water and either brush it onto the surface or dip smaller pieces straight into the mixture so the wood absorbs it fully.

Fipro Spark Plus 50SC is the treatment we rely on at Usman Pest Control to get ahead of that, using a Fipronil 5% suspension concentrate imported from the USA.

The reason it works well against an entire colony, not just the termites you can see, comes down to how Fipronil moves through a colony. Worker termites pick it up while feeding, then carry it back and share it with the rest of the nest, including the queen. So instead of just knocking down the termites near the treated area, the whole colony ends up affected over time.

That’s what makes it useful for both stages of a building’s life: treating open soil before a foundation is laid, and treating a home that’s already built and showing termite activity.
